Sexy Copper with Pop of Colour

Hi guys!
Copper/ Bronze eyeshadow looks great on every eye color, but since this is a neutral shade, it can look boring sometimes, right?
Here's a fun way to add some color and make the eyes look sexy!
Want to know how I did this look? Keep on reading for the step by step tutorial, below.
PICTORIAL:

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
  1. Apply a matte, dark brown eyeshadow on the outer third of the eyes and outer third of the lower lashline. Then blend it inwards.
  2. Use a matte, light orange eyeshadow on the crease. (transition color)
  3. Apply a copper eyeshadow to the entire eyelid. Don't apply over the brown shadow that was applied in the previous step. Blend and reapply the crease color as needed.
  4. Apply a white shimmery eyeshadow to the brow bone.
  5. Apply the copper eyeshadow on the lower lashline.
  6. Apply a cream eyeshadow or NYX Jumbo pencil on the inner corners as an eye base, to make the eyeshadow pop.
  7. Apply a matte yellow eyeshadow on the inner corners and blend.
  8. Line the upper lashline thinly, as close to the lashline as possible.
  9. Apply natural looking false lashes.
  10. For a more natural look, apply a beige or neutral toned eyeliner to the waterline. I used Makeup Forever's Aquamatic Cream liner.
  11. Contour your features and apply blush to the cheeks.
  12. Outline the lips with the help of a lipliner. I'm using Milani's Easy liner in Sugar Plum. Make sure to smudge and blot off the excess for a more sheer look.
  13. Apply a nude lipstick. I used Wet 'N Wild Megalast in Bare It All.

#MakeupForeverTrip (Paris)

Last April, i saw a post on facebook group (makeup artist in the philippines) about MakeUp For Ever's 30 years contest. without any second thought i told myself i need to join!

I actually saw the post 2 days before the deadline. and so the night after i saw that post, I immediately film my video entry.

They actually have 1 contest for (Pro) Makeup Artist and 1 for makeup addicts. I joined the makeup addict category since i never had any background (school) in makeup. and under makeup addict category they have 2 makeup looks to choose from. Pop star look and the Glam rock. obviously i chose glam rock.

I Never usually join contests or whatsoever but i dont know why i joined this. lol. All i know is i told myself i need to join this one!! Since i usually posts makeup tutorial on youtube, why not join, right?
The days past by, im not actually thinking about the contest, im not worrying nor nervous at all. well im nervous coz in my mind, im going to Paris, it'll be my first time in Europe!! That is what's on my mind right after i posted that video! That im going to win. I dont know why. but i had that feeling that im going to win and this is for me! (weird). Its July 4 already. The winners list should be up by now, and i never find any! so i told myself, uhm maybe i didnt win. thats ok, move on. Until July 6, a girl commented on my photo in instagram and she was like, "hey congratulations you were on Make Up For Ever's website. did they send you an email yet?" and i was like sooo shocked! i replied to her. omg really??? are you sure? whats their website? coz i keep on checking their site and all i see is nothing. and i checked it, OH SHOOT! its true! i was there! I WON!!

I'm literally crying while punching my mom and shouting im going to Paris!! i was so happy that time.
I kept it a secret, never posted on facebook nor tell anyone. haha. And so, i applied for my visa and i was so nervous because some told me that its hard to get a visa specially if you dont have a job, and i am really really nervous. what if my visa will be rejected? and i applied for it, all went well and the asked me to come back after 6 days to know the result.  and yey!!! My visa is approved!

yey! Im really going to Paris. and here it is, July 7, my flight! i am literally in heaven. and im the happiest person on earth!

I will spend my week studying makeup at Makeup Forever Academy in Paris!
Damn! im like super blessed! I really wanted to enroll in a makeup school but i dont know where in the Philippines and it was sooo expensive that i couldnt afford it. And here i was, In makeup forever academy! Thank You Lord!
It's supposedly 10 winners but for some reasons only 5 were chosen. yay! i am really blessed!
The winners are 3 from France, 1 from Mexico and ofcourse, 1 from The Philippines.

I really had an amazing week in Paris, though it'll be better if its 2 weeks right? well, its better than nothing! haha. I learned alot on that 1 week training. like right way to contour different shapes of face, how to use different primers and so. and how to do special effects and face painting!

Our Instructor Andree'-Line showing us how to do special effects.

All in all, this experience is probably one of the best ive ever had!
Who wouldve thought that my Passion for makeup would brought me to Paris? I only see Paris ie. The Eiffel or LA Tour Eiffel as what they say, on Magazines, Internet etc. I never thought that id be able to see it in flesh! i never expect that id be in Paris in my whole life because it really is impossible for me to go there coz duh! its so expensive. and so it happens!! now i believe that dreams really do come true! Just keep on dreaming and believing in yourself. just like what i did, i told myself that im going to win this and tadah! i win!

Nothing is really impossible! Thank You Makeup Forever for this wonderful experience and most of all, thank you God for the talent you gave me!.

For My Paris VLog Video you can find it on my channel www.youtube.com/jendionson

Here's a short video of my #Makeupforevertrip in makeup forever academy Paris.

Hope i inspired you guys! Thanks for the time reading my blog!
